In
an increasingly demanding society "stress" has
become a word spoken so often that familiarity has bred contempt.
However due to changes in recent Employment Laws it is now
quite clear that every employer has a "Duty of Care" not
only to the physical but also the psychological well being
of their employees.
Dr.
Terry Stuart who has over 20 years experience in
the field of medicine most of that time spent as a General
Practitioner has devised the programme. Dr. Stuart
has a long term interest in relaxation/hypnosis and stress
management in general, he has been involved in organising,
lecturing and chairing meetings for fellow G.P's as a G.P.
Tutor.

also has experience in Occupational Health as the Company Medical
Advisor for an international company based in South Wales.
Terry has also presented on a series of Television programmes
addressing "difficult" medical topics including one
dealing with Stress and Depression which not surprisingly led
to an overwhelming response from the public.
Stress
is the most rapidly growing illness in modern society; the
effects are far reaching for individuals and large organisations
alike. It leads to increased absenteeism and therefore increases
in costs. the latest figures suggest that millions of
working days are lost equating to approximately £10 billion
per annum in the UK alone! Stress also reduces performance,
lowers morale and therefore productivity.
